Brighton is also a wonderful racing destination and horse racing comes first with the Brighton Racecourse venue. It has a track of up to one and a half mile and has a mainly flat track. It is firmly located in the Race Hill and close to the town centre. It is considered racing venue and some of the main events include August Festival, Frost Ladies Day, Brighton Festival of Racing as well as other events including music and family days out.
